Human Editorial Decisions

AI may assist with research, drafting, organization, preliminary review, citation checking, editing, workflow design, and publication support. AI does not independently accept or reject manuscripts. Final editorial decisions are made by the human Editor-in-Chief or another authorized human editor.

Editorial Review and Peer Review

WBR distinguishes editorial review from peer review. Editorial review may include administrative screening, evidence and citation checks, structured rubric-based evaluation, revision requests, and human editorial judgment. This process alone is not peer review.

WBR uses “peer reviewed” only when substantive evaluation by appropriately qualified human peer reviewers has been completed and documented in the editorial record. Reviewer recommendations are advisory; final publication decisions remain with human editorial leadership.

AI & Transparency

AI may not be credited as an author. Human authors are responsible for work submitted under their names. Substantive AI use should be disclosed in a manner appropriate to the article and the extent of assistance.

WBR AI Insights is a special series in which AI generation is itself part of the publication model. Those articles visibly identify the AI system, the human editor, the editorial process, and whether external human peer review occurred.

Confidential submitted manuscripts should not be uploaded into outside AI systems by reviewers without authorization. WBR aims to use AI in ways that preserve confidentiality, source integrity, and human responsibility.

Research Ethics & Conflicts

Authors are responsible for appropriate research-ethics disclosures, including human-participant review or exemption information where applicable. Relevant conflicts of interest, funding relationships, prior or simultaneous submission issues, and authorship approval should be disclosed accurately.

Citations, Sources & Originality

WBR does not knowingly publish invented sources, quotations, findings, statistics, or verification claims. Authors remain responsible for the integrity of their citations and claims. Citation corrections discovered during production should be addressed through the editorial record rather than silently changed in a way that obscures the published history.

Corrections, Retractions & Record Maintenance

Material post-publication errors should not be silently replaced. WBR may issue visible corrections, retractions, or other notices appropriate to the nature and severity of the problem, with the goal of preserving an accurate and transparent publication record.

Appeals

Authors may raise a good-faith concern about an editorial decision or process. Appeals are reviewed by human editorial leadership and should focus on substantive errors, procedural concerns, or material information that was not available during the original decision.

Copyright & Responsible Use

Wolf Business Review LLC maintains the publication’s site and editorial presentation. Authors should submit only work they have the right to publish and should appropriately attribute third-party material. Specific article-level rights or licensing terms may be stated with individual publications as WBR’s publishing model develops.
